Tributes

On these pages we recognize individuals who have inspired or contributed to the movement to protect children, heal the wounded, and prevent abuse.

A Tribute Donation offers you a thoughtful way to celebrate a special person or occasion while contributing to SNAP. You can make a donation in memory of a deceased person that you have known or cared about. Or, it can be made to recognize or honor someone living who inspires you today. You can also use this program to raise money by asking others to give to SNAP in lieu of gifts for birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, etc. A SNAP tribute can also be a thoughtful way of saying "thanks" to someone who has helped you along the way.

Once we process your information you will receive an acknowledgement letter, and your honoree or their family will also receive a letter notifying them that you have made a gift in their name.

Your gift makes a difference--it enables us to provide vital services to the community we serve. We count on you and people like you to ensure that we can continue providing these services.

Your support enables us to build SNAPs healing model as we deliver the programs and services that advance SNAPs mission:

  • *to reach out to survivors of clergy sexual abuse;
  • *to provide in-person and online support groups while serving as a clearinghouse for key information;
  • *and to prevent further abuse through public education and advocacy.

To establish a Tribute Fund Donation to SNAP, or for more information, please contact our Tribute Fund coordinator, Barbara Dorris in St. Louis, at 314-503-0003. Or e-mail her at [email protected].

*Be sure to include the name of the person you are paying tribute to, and also the name and address of the person the gift acknowledgement should be sent to.

    I am a long-time fan of Dr. Greg Graffin, and his work clued me in to your wonderful organization. He inspired me to donate both last year and this year.
